My Head Racial Analysis

My head races. It’s been a chaotic day filled with school, track practice, and chess training among other activities, and my mind darts from thought to thought, failing to maintain focus. Then, as the first familiar drumbeats of Michael Jackson’s Thriller vocalize, I begin to calm down and appreciate the wonderful clarity and unique melodious sounds of every last instrument. My legs begin to rock, my head starts to bob ever so slightly from side to side, my fingers commence tapping to the beat, and my mind clears. Such is the wonderful effect of music in my life that I cherish like few else. When I’m not sleeping, underwater, or forcibly removed in a truly cruel and unusual punishment, I’m welcoming the wondrous melodies of music.

I love all genres of music, from rap to jazz, to instrumental to classic rock, and from country to hip-hop. Though I have some preferences within each genre, I’ll listen to it all.
