My Hallowen-Personal Narrative

I was 9 or 10 years old and we just got the name of our boat into my dads because my mom and dad just got divorced and before they got divorced we got a new puppy and it was my brother and my’s halloween present and it was the first halloween present that we got from my dad but it was the best Halloween present ever. He got us a yellow lab puppy and we got him early because the family that gave him to us was going somewhere very far away so it was even better because he was super small. My dad said the reason why we got him was because we have a golden retriever at home and he thought that she was getting lonely and needed someone to play with. The day came where we were going to go on the river and My dad asked me, “Can you walk the dogs before we go on the river so they lay down on the boat and not jump off?” so of course I said yes to him but he wanted me to walk them all the way to the dock but to do that I had to cross the road that gets really busy and it was pretty far away from our house. I still did it because my dad said that I could sit next to him in the back of the boat and I was super excited because I had never gotten to sit in the back next to him because my mom would. When I was on my way walking Ileft 15 minutes before them so I could run with them but on the way there their was a dead skunk that someone ran over and it stunk so bad and worst of all Gabby rolled all over in it and it was probably the worst thing that could happen that day because I had to sit behind her on the boat so I might not do that any …show more content…
Dad and I sort of talked and this is what happened, “We should prank Logan,” I said so then my dad came up with this, “when rocky falls in the water if he does we should push logan in with him even if he doesn’t jump we will distract him and him and push him in.” “That is one of the best things I have heard you say dad, let’s do it!” So when I let rocky off of the leash Logan was watching and first Rocky sniffed the water, thought he could walk on it and started to walk on it and ended up face planting in the water, but when that happened I pushed logan but he grabbed my hand and I fell in with him and I didn’t have a swimsuit on and the water was still super cold because it was still may and besides that we were going on a boat that goes fast and I’m soaked and
