Summary
This girl was very tired of eating sardines for lunch and not having any sweets at the house for herself. One day at lunch everyone started making trades with their food. She told the kids at the lunch table that for everything they give her, they could get a slice of the cake her mom is bringing at the end of the school year. They took her word for it so they gave her all of their sweets. One classmate realized she was lying and convinced everyone to go back to the old trading system.

This story is actually very funny. Even though I’ve never had sardines, I’d probably still try to make that trade with the rest of the class mates. I know she can’t help not having any sweets at
