Unshakable Family The sound of loud sirens and flashing colorful lights outside my window woke me up instantly. I sprung out of bed and rushed outside to meet the ambulance speeding down my gravel driveway. When I got outside, I heard my mom call my name from the inside of my grandparents house. I wondered what it could be. Both of my grandparents are in very healthy conditions. Although, my grandmother is known to be very clumsy. Her finest stories always seem to be from when she is on a mission. For example, falling by the creek when planting flowers, or breaking her wrist after falling and tripping over the grass. Despite her clumsiness, my grandmother is a hard working lady and I strive to have a work ethic like her one day. She doesn’t seem to let her clumsiness get in her way, she may fall down five times yet always stands up on the sixth. I was questioning what could have happened, until I stepped foot into their house.
I walked into my grandparents house and saw my grandmother laying on the floor. So many things were running through my mind at this point. Why is the laying on the floor? Why was she up so early, considering it was 3:00am. Why haven’t they helped her up yet? Did she fall? Is she responsive? Even though there were so many funny stories of Grandma’s clumsiness, it hasn’t ever been this serious. We’ve never had to

We may not know what is going to happen for her next but no matter what, we are going to be here for her. This will not shake
