My Goals Research Paper

Upon receiving the prompt for this essay and realizing that I would have to write about something that I have not only constantly thought about, but also on something that I have not fully committed a certain answer to, I was worried, to say the least. But after reviewing my options and my goals in life, I realized that this might not be such a difficult task. Even though I have no definite plan in what I am going to study as my major in college, I do have many ideas of what I would like my life to end up as. I have been told that I do well under pressure and that this would be the perfect job for me, which makes this idea more of a goal than a dream. The third goal of mine is to be an executive secretary. At first, I strove towards just being a secretary for a big corporation but after much research, I realized that I would most benefit from being an executive secretary. The difference between these two positions is that the executive secretary has more of a responsibility than a regular secretary. An executive secretary would have to be able to have good time management skills and be able to handle multiple responsibilities. In order to get this position, one would have to have the minimum of a bachelor's degree. The major I would follow after would most likely be business English with classes in business accounting and computer graphics. After completing the required four years of college with this major, I would hopefully find a job in a corporation as an executive secretary and gradually make my way up the corporate ladder.
