Classroom Philosophy Statement

In my classroom it will be organized to provide an environment that is inviting to learn in which all students will always look forward to wanting to come to class. I plan to provide my students with a classroom environment in which they feel welcomed, and the physical space is well-designed. Seating will be arranged where the students feel more structured and where there space to move around and everyone not sitting on top of one another. There will be all different sizes of table round, rectangles and long. The Tables will be placed in an area that is facing the black board. The room will have different areas that will have defined spaces, which can be used for different purposes, in which students know how to behave and know the rules in …show more content…
There will be rules put up in the classroom with pictures to remind the children what they are supposed to be doing and what they are not. Rules will help the children learn reasonability such as cleaning up and doing the right thing in the area / classroom. The parents will have a handbook of the policy for the program but they will also be informed about the classroom rules. We will let the parents know that if the child can not follow rules in the classroom they cannot go on any field trip expect if the parent comes along. We want the children to learn that rules are not in place to make them mad or make their life worst. It’s for their own …show more content…
Most school are sticking with the learning development learn as you play because most children while they are at home they just focus on the television and games system. Giving the children some play time with other children can teach them a lot. I’m all up for learn as you play. Children especially kindergarten. Do not get enough play time while in school and they are stuck in front of a book and black board. Learn and play is a great tool because the children will learn by one other.
