Future Career Progression

I have the persistence’s to accomplish my goal of graduating from The University of Central Missouri because I have a growth mindset and I will not give up on myself or my future career. I have learned to have a growth mindset and I know that if I cannot accomplish something at the moment I will not give up. I am committed to graduating from UCM because I am not afraid to look for help or resources. The University of Central Missouri has resources that are easily accessible for students to be successful. I am a first generation college student and my family expects me to know how to be successful in college. The University of Central Missouri has showed me that even though I am a first generation college student I can still be successful I just need to learn to be resourceful. I want to prove to my family and myself that I am smart enough to graduate from UCM. As a first generation college student I learned to stay positive and motivated because it is hard to graduate from a university without family support. Being the first in my family to attend college has been difficult because there are many hidden rules in college but I do my best to keep my head up and learn from my mistakes.
