My life is rather very complicated. Of course, I know that I’m not the only one that lives like this, and that other people may have it much worse than I do. Whether its struggle with bills or all together as a family, I still try to do the very best I can. When you run into one of your former students who is successfully earning their degree you get an amazing feeling that you have made a true difference in their life. This has happened with several of my past students over the years, including my “at-risk” students who were labeled as such for fear that they would not graduate—to help them overcome all odds and do exactly that is what makes teaching so fulfilling. When I resided in Turkey in the third grade, as a military child, my teacher asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I knew immediately that I wanted to be a teacher just like him. Dr. Mossburg, who is now the Chief of Curriculum for DoDEA’s Education Division, made learning fun and exciting.…

The decision to revisit the idea of school nearly took a year of research. Applying at a traditional college was not the route I would be taking. The school, the time and effort, and of course cost ought to work for my family. A couple of the goals that steered the way to continuing my education are graduating with an associate’s degree and also implementing it into a career in Healthcare Administration. I concede that in order for me to pursue my goals I will need to maintain a schedule, ruthlessly track my progress, and retain the technical skills and knowledge needed to move forward with my impending goals.…

I remember the feeling of excitement I felt when I saw the surgery because I was fully sentient of what was happening due to learning basic terminology and procedures in my class.
