My generation and I are the future of America. Thus, it is up to the bold, the driven, and the intellectual to stand up as a leader. A leader is one who acts in the best interest of their community gracefully and efficiently. I aspire to attend American Legion Girls State of Virginia due to the reasons that it will better inform me on how my government works, teach me the ways in which I can best be an active citizen, and allow me to develop as a leader.
