My Future Goals Of The Seven Wonders Of Life

Improved Essays
Some really old guy once said something about the unexamined life being a life not worth living, therefore I’m examining my future goals hoping that is what he was talking about. Nearly everyone has things on his or her bucket list, that they hope to accomplish prior to being reaped by Death. Maybe it’s skydiving, helping a third world country, or trying cuisine from multiple cultures. Regardless, it is important that those goals do not go unfinished, or at least without a plan, because without a plan there is a high chance that a person will not achieve their goals. In my life I hope to raise up a family, explore Europe, and visit the new seven wonders of the world. …show more content…

To begin, the great wall of China is something I’ve always wanted to see. Mostly because I believe it is a sight I would never forget. Along with that, the Taj Mahal is something extremely beautiful that I think every person should at least desire to see. It is nearly symmetrical by design and the garden in front of it is said to be amazing as well. The other wonders are also intriguing and a large part of the world’s history. Personally, I think history is fascinating and being able to witness things from the B.C. era is mind blowing. The fact that all the wonders have been so well preserved kind of makes a person wonder just how amazing the people of that time were at constructing buildings and other things to

“When am I going to die and will my life have had meaning?” is a pressing thought that has and will plague the minds of all human beings past, present, and future. This contemplation of whether or not one's life was significant to those left behind is ultimately unanswerable by oneself; however, the choices made during life fundamentally create a conjecture one can either be content or discontent with. As Christopher Kuselias states, "Anticipating the inevitable reflection we all face, the key question [is this]: What will you remember?" (Kuselias, 2014). Ultimately, the answer to this question is forged through the many trials and errors life throws our way.…

Part of your most recent plan was to be here now, you chose this human existence that you are currently experiencing, you pre- planned every detail of your life in order to gain the maximum learning and adventure, and you choose to exit when you have completed all the experiences you planned for yourself. The world away from this world (the universe) is not separate from us, it is not some far away mystery; it is a logical, functioning, populated, progressive, divine place! Much like here on earth (without all the stuff), except here on earth we have temporarily forgotten the divine and infinite bits of ourselves! If I can be a bit honest here, as humans we have become self-obsessed, self-absorbed and rather blinded by our own self-importance.…
