Pink states, “Only engagement can produce mastery” (Pink 109). Pinks point is that if someone is not engaged on what they are doing or interested they will never reach mastery. They need to like what they do or at less caught their attention so they can work on it and become better at it. In my future career I can use mastery but it’s going to come from me. I know at the being of my position I will not be the best one at first but I’ll start practicing and eventually be one of the best registered nurse because mastery does happen from one day to another it takes time it can even take years and sometimes you don’t hit perfection but your close to it. I would want to get recommended to a higher hospital facility. I know through the way I will have many struggles and I will fail sometimes but I wouldn’t let that bring me down ill just get back up and perfect what I did wrong. When I was little I remember giving my grandma her pills and her insulin shots. At first when I would see my mom doing it I kept tell my grandma if it hurt she said it didn’t, so the next day she told me to give her the shot and she said I had a really light hand and it didn’t hurt one bit. Since that day I knew what I wanted to do in my future
