This essay will discuss four main topics. It will first include my strengths, skills and passions. It will then consider my potential career paths. The third section will deal with my area of sub-disciplines related to my career paths. Finally, it will go into detail relating the steps necessary to prepare myself for my future profession. Overall, this essay pertains to planning my academic and professional career. I possess a multitude of strengths that I consider to be valuable for my future profession. I value the importance of a strong work ethic. Commitment is the key to success in every aspect of life. In order to become qualified in these fields, there are certain prerequisites that have to be met. For my undergraduate program, it will be essential to take Biomechanics if I were to pursue a career as a Physician's Assistant. Biomechanics is the study of movement and function of a living organism. Anatomy is another prerequisite required to become a PA. Anatomy is required because it is the study of organ systems in the body. These are major courses that will prepare me for my future in this field. To become an Anesthesiologist Assistant there are also specific courses that are necessary. Nutrition and Health is an important class in the process of completing my undergraduate degree. This course highlights the importance of a healthy diet and enhances the awareness of physical activity. An Anesthesiologist Assistant must be proficient in the course Motor Control, Coordination and Skill in order to assess the patient's’ physical exams in order to understand the objective of the human body.
