I have a lot of plans that relate to my future education and occupation. I obtained my Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) degree while in high school, which made me into who I am today. I also had one of the highest scores, because I worked so hard to make sure that I passed my very first time taking the exit exam for the LPN class. The summer after I graduated, I went and took my state boards, and passed them my very first time taking them. Obtaining my LPN during high school influenced my future in a big way, because it showed me how I wanted my life to go and what I wanted to do with my life. I want to help others for the rest of my life, which led me to want to become a Nurse Practitioner. I am now attending Belmont College for their LPN to RN (Registered Nurse) program, and I plan on graduating in May of 2017. I have been on the Dean's list for all 3 semesters that I have attended, and I am a member of their branch of Phi Theta Kappa (an honors society). I plan to continue this for the rest of my time at Belmont. My education plan is to become a Nurse Practitioner, or even higher than that if I want. I believe that I can help more people in more ways by being a Nurse Practitioner than I can being a LPN. I’m not sure what I want my specialty to be yet, but I have plenty of time to figure it out. I would love to work with children in a pediatric hospital or even in a doctor's
