While taking this class, we read about, “Evolution is the process of change over time” (Lavenda p.6). In the book, the author purpose was trying to understand the evolution of a college student culture. While reading the author questioned herself “How could some of my students never take notes during my big lecture class?”(Nathan p.2) She also brought up how hard she had to work to be able to reach her goal. With this example, it showed the evolution of hard work done by college students. Being a college student, I can also agree with Nathan that students do not work as hard as they did in the past. Generations ago college students did not have the same resources as the students had at that time. Statistics shows in 1998, only 51% of a classroom had internet access, and 2003 it rose to 92% (Wells p.27).
