My Fort Research Paper

The Fort
 When I was younger, I was fortunate enough to live in a neighborhood filled with other children I could play with. Nearly every day was a new adventure. On this very average weekday a close friend of mine named Yesi invited me over to her house. As I got to her house I realized that her parents were moving around furniture. Seeing all this open space gave me a wonderful idea. 
Often times we would build small forts in our bedrooms with whatever we could find. However, today was different because we had an entire living room to ourselves. Not only did we have an open space, but we also had furniture we could utilize in building our fort. This was the first fort we had ever built in which we could stand tall. Once inside we saw many great ways to keep making this the most magnificent fort we had ever made. We quickly began to gather other materials such as sticks, boards, chairs, and tables. We took anything we could fit inside our fort and began creating rooms, windows, and even taller ceilings. At this point our possibilities continued to expand and what was just a great fort we now saw as a magical castle. Inside of this fort we had all types of toys one of them being a small princess doll. Since we were in what we saw as a castle we began to pretend that the princess doll was real. Then before our eyes the doll transformed into a life-size princess and proceeded to ask us if we wanted her to transform our fort into a the castle we were pretending it was. We agreed with no doubt and she warned us that once the castle was transformed we should not alter it in any way without her help or our parents because it was dangerous. We agreed and with the wave of her wand the transformation was complete. 
 Our castle was now one of our proudest creations yet, but Yesi's brother Josh disagreed. He believed that the castle needed one last thing in order to
