Did you ever sit back wondering who you really were? After my first year of college I really found out who I was and what I wanted to do with my life. During my senior year of high school, the only thing I worried about was sports, I played three sports and barely worried about my grades. After realizing I won’t make a living off of playing sports, I concentrated on finding a college that fit my lifestyle and had my major. Playing sports made me the girl I am today, it showed me that it’s not about the game, it’s about the friendships you make. My Junior year I became close with our Athletic Trainer and after shadowing her and having her help me, I fell in love with her job and it made me realize that by being an Athletic Training I’ll be around sports and able to help athletes when they are hurt. Being the only one to go to college in my family was very stressful, because I don’t want to let anyone down, but one major reason I stay motivated is all the support my family provides with me, they stick by my side with all my decisions. Once I visited Lebanon Valley College I knew it was the one for me, it felt like home, had my major, my close friends were attending there, and also being a family person its only thirty minutes away from my house. Also being a small division three college is I can play softball while getting a good education. After my first couple weeks of school, I struggled with being homesick, but now I actually like coming back to college after being home…
