The Importance Of Travel To Europe

I had awoken to a bright, sunny room and I knew today would be amazing and nerve racking all at the same time. I had been anticipating for months for this day, June 1st, 2015, to arrive; I would be traveling for the first time to Europe. It was almost two weeks in Ireland, England, and France. It was my first time traveling by plane. I was excited, but also extremely nervous to get on the plane; especially. when the first plane was small and we had turbulence. Thankfully, the second flight was larger and smoother. The food on the plane was so disgusting that everyone felt sick to their stomachs, some even vomited. I now know to always bring snacks in my carry-on bag to any flight. However, when I glanced out the window, I was able to see an incredible view from thousands of feet in the sky.
My first stop was Dublin, Ireland. The scenery was beautiful, so lush and green all around me. It was my favorite place to visit out of all the stops. They had the most tranquil and calm beaches. There were also a

To get there, we took a ferry; it was not a ferry, as my teacher called it, but a huge cruise ship. I enjoyed getting to relax on it for a few hours before heading to my destination. It was amazing to see Big Ben up close along with the London Eye. Honestly, my favorite place was the M&M store. It was huge with multiple levels; I had found the place I wanted to spend all my money. I accidently spent one hundred dollars at a souvenir shop since I did not know how much a pound compared to a dollar. Later that day, Wicked was the play I got to see at the Apollo Victoria theater. It had to be the most amazing play that I had ever seen. After that, I packed my suitcase again; ready to leave my small hotel room for Paris, France. My friend and I chased pigeons all around the train station headed for Paris. After an extremely long four hours on the train, I arrived, but it was not as I would have expected it too

“You’re not going to feel anything,” the nurse with the fake lips exclaimed. “Yeah, right,” I murmured under my breath as I thought about how many people she had said that to today. Since when do nurses wear more makeup than clowns? Her lips were as thick as my broken, swollen thumb; her eyebrows looked like squirrels above her eyes; she looked worse than a clown. I couldn’t understand how frustrating it might be to mess up and have to start her makeup routine all over; it probably takes her at least two hours.…

As the European world is in descending into general peril during the 15th and 16th centuries, a multitude of precarious variables are bearing havoc onto the region, providing inordinate reasons and motivations for the Europeans to venture westward into a new world. Among certain motivations for European exploration include: a quest for a homogenously Christian-European region, a sheer onslaught of pandemonium brought by the bubonic pandemic of the 1500’s, and the search for new spice trade routes as a result of the previous routes being sequestered by the Ottomans. Economic motivations with hopes of finding potential riches were, of course, the greatest motivation for the Europeans to venture outward. While the other motivations, such as the plague and the quest for new spice routes, were important issues and served as defining reasons for the Europeans to explore, the evidence that Europeans were mostly motivated by the potential to find riches can be purported in many ways.…

I visited Rome, Venice, and Florence, went to the beaches, ate lots of Italian food, and went June 18-25th so it would not be too hot or too cold.
