My First Time Is Nonfiction

The first time I encountered writing and reading and generally enjoyed the idea of both was around my early years in elementary school. I was one of those kids that hung out in the library and just read for the fun of gaining knowledge on things I didn’t know or thought about. Growing up In Adelphi, Maryland my grandmother would take me to the local library every two weeks so, I was always occupied by reading.I learned how to check in and out books and was privileged enough to have my own library card. My grandmother always explained to me and my younger sister how important reading is and how far education can get you; expectually will me being a young black male.
