I had applied for many colleges, but got reject letter from all of them. My mother went to the University of Mobile and she encouraged me to look into it. She gave me a breakdown of everything I need to know and I soon fell in love with the University of Mobile. That day I applied and weeks later I got an acceptance letter in the mail. I could not have been happier, but the only problem was I had no way to pay for it all. I got down on my knees that night and prayed to God to show me a way. Scholarships began to line up and soon I had my first semester paid for. Money may still be an issue, but I put all my trust into the Lord knowing that he has a plan for me. I know that everything will work out in the end with him by my side. The Lord really tugged on my heart when I was about to give up on college. I want to be able to write a paper better than I can and learn to study correctly. The people at the University of Mobile so far have showed me that they are willing to help you accomplish the goals you set for yourself. I hope to come close to all the people at this school and become a better Christian. The priorities I have for the next four years are not set in stone yet, but I aim to finish school and make something of myself. I pray that the Lord will show me the path he wants me to take in the next four years. I would say that my transition to college was a big life changer. In high school I would wait until the last moment to do any kind of work. I always passed, but when I came into college I learned that I could not procrastinate and expect the best grade for waiting until the last minute to do anything. For me it was hard and I did not think that I was not meant for college. Transitioning straight out of high school to college was one of the most hardest things for me to
