Personal Narrative: How My Four Wheel Changed My Life

Improved Essays
The First time wheeling on my four-wheel changed my life because I can now ride a wheelie pretty far down the road. One day I got on my four-wheeler, I told myself that I am going to teach myself how to wheelie. I got on my four-wheeler, started it and let it warm up. Then I put in first gear, then I popped the clutch and the front wheels came off the ground. I had the four-wheeler straight up and down then the front wheels slammed down on the ground. After the wheels hit the ground I put it back in first gear and popped the clutch again and the four-wheeler went up to high and it landed right on my chest. I pushed the four-wheeler off me. Once I got back up I flip the four-wheeler over so the gas would stop running out of the top. Once I fliped the four-wheeler back over my clothes were soaked in gas, and it smelled bad. I ran around so the pain would go away.
After I ran around I got right back on my four-wheeler and told my self that I was not giving up on wheeling. So I got back on the four-wheeler and seat way back on the

When I ride by myself I do stupid stuff but that why I have some good stories to tell. The last time I went riding, I was balls to the wall ripping though the woods. When I am by myself I don’t care about anything and I would try anything on a four-wheeler. I tried to do a hill climb and I flipped it, the front wheels came off the ground when they were supposed to be on the ground. After it stopped flipping down the hill, I went up to flip it back over and the handle bars were bent and the a-arms were broke in half. By the way if your going to be dumb on a four-wheeler make sure you have the money and time to buy parts and fix it all up, because if you don’t fixed them right away your probably going to sell it because you will get tired of looking at the four-wheeler you ride because its broke. It really sucks when you can’t go riding because your wheeler is broke

Two years ago, I was the quiet, overweight, anxious girl who avoided social interaction as if it was the plague. Needless to say, I was not the most confident or outgoing person out there. I let my anxiety disorder rule my life, and let my weight be an excuse as to why I couldn’t do certain things.…

That was the day we both had regretted taking what we had found. Between living in the country and being a freshman in high-school living 5 miles away from town there was not much to do for a 15 year old with no ride. During the summer heat I would usually ne staying inside with the A/C on blast in comfort. The sound of dirt bikes around the gorge was to hard to resist. I whipped out to the garage and gave my bike a quick check, oiled the chain, topped up with fuel, chucked on my riding gear and slipped the garage door open and I was off like rocket. I was racing down the beach and doing heaps of mad as wheelies, some probably being in 3kms or more in length, with mum and dad following in my hilux and my little brother in hot pursuit on his little bike.…
