KATRINA’S COMMENTS TO OTHER INSTRUCTORS
A couple of days later as we were getting ready to do an introduction into the simulator procedures, I overhead an instructor asking how things were going with our training, as I approached her, she was making unprofessional comments about my training; when she realized I was close enough to hear her, she ceased speaking.

In addition, it was clear she was pretty friendly with the other pilot (my first officer training as my co-pilot) while we were in the simulator as he made it very clear to her he was going to “brown nose” to get through the training. As the days went on, there were times she would place her hands on his shoulders and massage him to calm him down as he was not understanding systems at times. He then began to be a bit indifferent to me as their relationship began to grow very quickly. Keep in mind, she would be the one to prepare his reputation within the Flight Academy as the first line of review for the next instructor and phase check. It seems his comment to Katrina and I, (“brown-nosing worked before…” as he would by gifts for his former co-worker) seem to be working.
