I enjoyed learning the basics of programming, which gave me insight on how a computer operates. I performed well in this class, but at the same time, I was taking a physics class, a calculus course, and other general studies courses. This was really my first rigorous semester, and I was struggling with physics and calculus. I did not seek guidance, whether it be from by professors or my peers. I decided to drop my physics class and take it the next semester, and focus on my other classes. By the end of the semester, I had performed well, but I still did not know what I wanted to do. I had to choose a major that I wanted to pursue, and meet its requirements by the end of my second year. Ultimately, I chose to attempt the computer science major, since I knew that I enjoyed computers and I received a good grade for my programming
