With a plethora of assignments and tests every week, it is pertinent that one does not procrastinate or fall behind. In high school I was a huge procrastinator. I would do projects and assignments last minute. My senior year of high school, I completed most of my assignments the period before it was due. However, in college I quickly learned that procrastination was no longer an option. To stop from procrastinating, I have become a compulsive list maker. Each Sunday, I write out my week in my planner. I develop a list of tasks that have to be done each day. This process I have found has prevented me from procrastinating. I enjoy writing, and I wanted to be proud of my work. Throughout this class, I have realized that my favorite style of writing is the personal narrative. I also realized that I enjoy writing about people. Therefore, the profile paper was one of my favorites. Additionally, I was reminded that research papers are my least favorite to write. I like learning and reading research about interesting topics, but I do not like writing about them. One thing I consider myself to be decent at, is my ability to captivate the audience through my introductions. Learning how to write powerful introductions is a skill that has me taken years.
