Is your first thought “This is going to be a fantastic day?” Every day I wake up to the sun and all its magnificence and think to myself “Please God, not again.” I then drag myself out of bed, and stagger like a zombie to my life source…coffee. I do not think to myself “Gee, self! Today is going to be a great day.” No, I am realistic. I wake up with a primal knowledge that it will be a horrific day. I will go to work, and probably get yelled at by some lovely person. Then I will run around in a frenzy the majority of the day. I most likely will have to work extra hours and then finally get to go home where the dog undoubtedly will have gotten in to the trash and so on. I am realistic about my day; I don’t sugar coat it for myself. This is a good attribute to have because I can realistically prepare myself for the day ahead, and move through my day without any
