I got off the bench flying down the ice, I could feel the wind trying to make a barricade against me, but every time I broke through. Once I got the pass from my teammate in the high slot, I gathered all the strength I could and fired the puck, as hard as I could. I was hungry and envious to get that goal. I watched the puck float crisply through the brisk cold air, then it bounced off the goalies stick, hit the crossbar, and went in! Once I knew it was in I had a huge grin on my mug and was filled with happiness I thought “Yes, Yes, Yes”! At that time I could not believe what was going on. To be honest, I ironically hardly remember what happened after that point. All in all that was the toughest and most difficult achievement that I have ever succeeded and the point of my life that gave me a huge boost of confidence and made me feel more inspired to play hockey and work harder in everything I do.
