I am a first generation college student so I had little prior knowledge of what college classes entailed. I had done very well in high school without the support of my parents and high school was also very easy for me so coming to college I overestimated what I could handle. After doing well my first quarter I decided to take on more responsibility. My financial crisis had unfortunately worsened during my first quarter so I decided to get a job and work everyday. I also took harder classes and joined the executive board of my sorority.
