For some reason I have always struggled with recounting the earlier moments of my life. Sure, the names of a few of my close friends in pre-school come to mind, and I do have a fuzzy recollection of being stitched up in a cold and clammy doctor's office after a bloody run in with an abnormally sharp wood chip. However one long term memory was able to jam itself into my frontal lobe from my youn, developmental stages: the first time I was grounded.
This is not a story, however, of my early onset discipline issues. Quite the contrary, actually. See, my first experiences as a criminal in the domestic justice system did not result from behavorial issuess, but rather academic excitement.
