My First Dog Research Paper

For years me and my sister have pester our mother over wanting to own a dog. Each time we have gotten the same the excuse that we are too young and would not be able to take care of a dog. That we could barely take care of ourself much less a pet. Fast forward towards the end of my high school I finally convinced her to buy one. Two weeks before Christmas, on a stormy night we went the humane society and got my most special animal, my first dog a chow mix named Tiger.

I still remember first going to see him in his kennel. He was the loudest on in the row, barking and practically jumping off the gate. Honestly I was afraid of him when I first saw him, but my mother fell in love with him. She said he was the most handsome dog ever, I thought she was crazy. Looking back now I don 't blame her, he was the best looking dog there. In the end we all agree to get him, I got to take him on a test walk around the shelter. I can never forget that day, I took his leash from the volunteer and almost fell down. Because he pulled so hard to chase a stray kitten that walking around. Thank God for the fence, after that he dragged me around the trees without even looking back at me.
