My First Diablo

I was in 6th or 7th grade (2010-2012) when my dad first got me involved in the computer game “Diablo”. All I knew about the game before was that it was like an RPG (Role Playing Game). My dad was playing the 2nd “Diablo” game of the series at the time. He told me that he didn’t play the first “Diablo” because, according to him, the graphics were “too crappy”. Eventually, as I played the game more, I became a better player and knew some gaming jargon.

“Diablo” was released to the public in 1996. The gaming company that had made “Diablo” was Blizzard Entertainment, who was based in Irvine, California. The company had previous success with the MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) “World of Warcraft”. “Diablo” won an award for

The angels of the High Heavens and the demons of the Burning Hells had been fighting an ongoing war, the “Eternal Conflict”, for countless centuries. Eventually, a group of angels and demons who wanted to get away from the fighting stole the Worldstone, a giant crystal believed by many to be the source of all creation. With the Worldstone, they created the mortal realm of Sanctuary. Two beings, the angel Inarius and the demoness Lilith, bonded and made the first of the Nephalem. These beings were half angel and half demon, and appeared to look like humans. After a while, the Nephalem became so powerful that they managed to drive both the forces of Heaven and Hell from Sanctuary. After a rebellion in the Hell's, the Prime Evils of Terror, Hatred, and Destruction were banished to Sanctuary in an event called “The Dark Exile”. The Prime Evil’s were Diablo, Mephisto, and Baal. When they arrived on Sanctuary, they spread corruption throughout humanity. the archangel Tyrael of the Angiris Council gathered a group of mortals and formed the Horadrim, a group that set out on capturing the Evil’s souls in soulstones, which were small parts of the Worldstone. The leaders of the group were the mortals Tal Rasha and Jered Cain. When the Horadrim were attempting to subdue Baal outside the gates of the desert city Lut Gholein, Baal casted a powerful spell at the group and shattered the soulstone into smaller pieces. Tal Rasha took the biggest of the pieces and jabbed it into Baal’s body, trapping the demon lord’s soul inside. Tal Rasha knew that Baal’s soul wouldn’t stay in the soulstone for long, so he had the rest of the Horadrim build an underground chamber and chain him to a pillar. The archangel Tyrael then plunged the soulstone shard into Tal Rasha’s chest, trapping the essence of Baal inside him. The Horadrim exited the chamber and sealed it, leaving Tal Rasha to wrestle with the demon lord for all eternity. They

In Perelandra, the second book of C.S. Lewis’ The Space Trilogy, there are many parallels drawn between the character of the Un-Man and evil in our world, especially when recalling the third chapter of Genesis, describing Adam and Eve and the Fall of Man. The Un-Man in Perelandra is the Devil manifesting himself in the character of Weston’s body, just as the Devil manifested himself in the Serpent in the story of Adam and Eve. In Genesis Chapter three, the Devil manifests himself in the form of a Serpent. Similarly, in Perelandra, the Devil possesses Weston’s body and uses his physical body as a means to disguise himself in order to attempt to bring evil and chaos into the perfect and unfallen world of Perelandra.…
