I sat in my seat and patiently waited for Taylor to arrive so that I could tell her about my plans for the weekend. Still waiting and she never showed up. I began to feel and very empty feeling in my stomach like I just had been punched. Taylor wasn’t coming to school and I didn’t know how I was going to get through the day without her.

We hit middle school and life with her in it was pretty great. She could always make me laugh and was always there for me when I was sad. Of course like any other friendship we had our moments and fought a lot but in the end we always knew that we would be there for each other no matter what. I don’t think I could of started my high school career without her. People would always talk about how much we were together and if they saw one of us then they knew that the other one wasn’t far behind. We’re Seniors now and soon we’ll be separated. I’ll go from seeing her everyday to having to FaceTime when I’m missing her face. Chelsea has been a large part of my life and is part of the reason why I am who I am
