My First Day Of College Essay

I never wanted to move on from high school to college because I did not know if I would like it, but knew at some point, I had to. My first day of college was one of the most nerve wracking days of my life, because it was a new chapter in my life. I was ready for it and was hoping it would be one of the best experiences in my life. The problem was I did not know what to expect from college. My friends and family always told me how different it was going to be than high school and did not know if I was prepared. As I was driving to school it was different because I had to take the highway to school and of course there was an early morning influx. I finally arrived to Middlesex Community College in Bedford and realized there was nobody I knew. The college campus also had a different atmosphere than high school. I arrived at the campus an hour early to explore the campus and to make sure I know where all my classes will be held. As I was meandering the campus was really confusing because there were so many different buildings. I was mentally not ready for this.and had butterflies the whole morning. I decided to wait in the library where I have seen a few familiar faces from Lowell High School, the high school I graduated from, that made me a bit more comfortable. Why did I go to Bedford campus when I went to Lowell High? I choose Bedford because a couple of my family members went their.
