It used to be nothing more than busywork for me when I was younger. The hot air, the long, tedious routine of digging, the planting, the watering -- this was not the most enjoyable hobby. That summer, I started to enjoy digging through the dirt, as you’d tell me stories about your childhood. I started to enjoy seeing the worms, spiders, and beetles scurrying away from my large hands as they dig through the dirt. Food became more satisfying when I understood the care that you put into almost every ingredient in our meals. I finally understood the relaxation, beauty, and enjoyment gardening brought you, and it became important to me to help you maintain your passion. I actually wanted to help
