There is a saying “There is only one brilliant, beautiful/handsome , talented child in the whole wide world.That child is every parent’s first-born child “
As my first-born child, I do have a strong emotional attachment and bias about my daughter, Aditi’s abilities and skills. To help me take away my bias and my imaginary colored glasses of love and affection, I will use anecdotes to highlight Aditi’s qualities of character and mind that most delight me. This will help me be objective and to support with evidence my observations.

The “Eighth Grade Salute” was a celebration and retrospective looking back at achievements of middle school for the class of 2014-2015 . It was also about looking ahead towards Freshman year while moving to the high school in a new campus, Aditi Nayak gave her speech reminiscing the school year, memorable events and looking ahead to high school and years beyond, in front an audience of 340 students who were present along with their parents in audience at the school auditorium . She went on a 3 day trip to Washington for Model Congress meet/competition as part of her school club.
She has participated in social clubs like Amigos , Hands across the water at middle school . She was involved in their community activity and also participated in fund raising drives to approach business in the township. She was also one of the MC for the talent show these clubs held at end of year to celebrate their achievements
She has a keen ear for music and has been playing piano since a young age. She initially tried viola at school and then settled for flute as her instrument of choice. She auditioned and made it to Youth Orchestra of Central Jersey and played at their concerts during middle school. In high school, this year, she tried out for flute for her marching band and got selected. She participated in all their rehearsals and attended all the inter school marching band competitions and came out with flying colors along with her team while representing her school at marching
