“I am happy to say that for a long time now, and to this day, Monday is my favorite day of the week.” Dr. Francois Le Roy is what everyone aspires to be, happy. Most people can go their whole lives without finding what Dr. Le Roy has. “I like going back to work, because I like what I do.” He inspires those around him when he speaks about what he does. “It’s what I wish on everybody, and I’m hoping that is why people are in college.” He loves what he does, and it is hard for him to imagine doing anything else anywhere else. “It’s hard for me to imagine, because I love it here.”

Le Roy believes that people should enjoy what they do. “If the only happy moment in your life is when you get home on the weekend or your few weeks of vacation that you have, that is a pretty sad existence.” He is an inspiration to never settle for anything less than happiness. “When the primary reason for going to work is no longer the paycheck.”
Dr. Le Roy wants everyone to use education as a tool to find their future. “I think that is what the value of education is trying to figure out what you like.” You cannot be afraid of trying something different than what you have done in the past. “I found out through education what I really like.” Dr. Le Roy is a first generation college graduate, his family has a long history of sailors. “If I had a vocation, it would have been sailing, but I went to college instead.” He found out what he wanted to do with the rest of his life through college, through trying to learn more about the world.
