My Favorite Memory Analysis

Amber You 're one of a kind and that 's what makes you special. You are a touchy feely type of girl and at the beginning i was like "why the hell is she like this" but after Disney and Virginia, we have never been closer. Never change who you are. Never change for a guy or for your friends. Because i know that you 're wonderful just the way you are. One of my favorite memory of us is when we would run during drills and I would hit your ass or vice versa. The reason why it 's one of my favorite memory is because it shows the type of friendship we have which is a very open and touchy friendship, and I 'm glad it 's like that. I don 't hug all of my friends because I usually don 't like hugging but with you it 's different and I don 't mind hugging …show more content…
This is going to be hard. When I first met you Alisha in freshmen year when we had that one dot in metallurgy, movement 2, I thought "wow she 's a tough character" and I thought hmm okay maybe we 'll be kinda close bc you were in the sax section and so was I, however in sketches of Spain you switched and played horns so we didn 't get as close as I thought we would have my sophomore year and in the end I thought that you honestly hated me, just like the other upperclassmen the years before you because of marching band and such, so I said oh well. However because of the Virginia trip we became so close. We became family. You 're honestly part of my family now as long with the others. And I care for my family. One of my favorite memory is when you were throwing up in Virginia and I was rubbing you 're back and then I started gagging and I said "oh fuck" the reason why it was my favorite was because it showed how we take care of each other even when we aren 't feeling too well either. Now for the sad part. You and me are very much alike. We don 't like sappy, touchy, feely people. We don 't like sappy love things like a card or big romantic gestures. We both want to be successful with our own careers but the thing I worry about is that we 're going to be too worried about our careers that we won 't see the world around us. Maybe it won 't phase us when we 're young or maybe not at all, but if it does then you have to remember that we 're here for you. No matter where …show more content…
You 're a beautiful person who needs to know that you 're aren 't someone who should let others get away with things that affect your life. You 're moving away to Pennsylvania where we aren 't going to be in a driving distance away from each other. We 're going to be a state away from each other. However no matter what we 're going to be still be together because we 're family and family sticks together. One of my favorite memories of us is when you were just sitting alone in Busch gardens and i saw you just sad and alone in the corner. It 's my favorite because of shows how we are together no matter what, that no matter where we are, we are are always going to cross roads with each other. It also represents that you 're aren 't going to be in a place where your friends are going to be there for you. You need to know that it 's okay to explore without others in your way. You 're a beautiful women and you 're all grown up. I 'm truly going to miss you Gillian. Have a wonderful time I 'm klutztown. Make new friends. And lastly. We 're family. Family is some you trust, you love, you respect. And I feel all those when I 'm with all of you guys, I can honestly say I feel like I 'm with my family. You guys are truly a blessing to have in my life and I 'm glad I met all of you. Never ever forget about me, Emily, Jade, William, Scott, or Anthony. But mostly the five of you must always stick together and be a family because together you

What do you do with your thoughts? A long time ago, there was no paper to scribe thoughts onto or computers to record them. There was nothing to do with thoughts, but remember them. Anything worth preserving had to be preserved in memory. In the essay, “The End of Remembering” by Joshua Foer, memory is an important issue.…

The Labyrinth of the Recollection Process Commonly, remembering enjoyable experiences makes you living full of joy, and remembering uncomfortable experiences makes you living in the swamps. Memories are like a coin that has two faces: happiness and sadness. Although these two are totally opposed to each other by meaning, they play a very important role in recalling our memories. Memory forming is a relatively simple process which requires the one’s effort to memorize the event and how important or serious the event is for him or her.…

President Andrew Jackson spoke in a very careless tone. It was almost as if Andrew Jackson didn’t even feel the slightest bit of sympathy for the Cherokees. President Andrew Jackson clearly stated, “My Friends, Circumstances render it impossible that you can flourish in the midst of a civilized community.” This statement shows us that President Andrew Jackson didn’t care about what the Cherokees had to go through. He only cared about the benefits that would be given to the Americans once all of the Cherokees left.…

Hi Ema, I really enjoyed your post as you gave a really good insight as to what a true long-term friendship is. It's amazing that your friendship with her lasted so long and is still going on. I'm glad that although you two drifted apart you were able to connect again. I had a friend I was really close to when I was younger while I was in middle school and we stayed friends until the beginning of college when we drifted apart as we had different outlooks. Remember Memory Numbers

The numbers I was able to remember correctly in my second attempt at the memory game where 0,9,7 3,2,6,3,7,7,4,0. The mnemonic device I used to remember these numbers was the major system. The major system pairs numbers from 0-9 with letters from the alphabet 0–S, Z 1-T, D 2-N 3-M 4-R 5-L 6-G 7-K 8-F, V 9- P, B this system works by incorporating words into remembering numbers. For example for the first three digits I remembered in the memory game 0, 9, 7 I turned them into the word, SPiKe corresponding numbers with letters to make a word, using the major system will supposedly make remembering numbers easier my incorporating words, and sounds into it. In my case the major system somewhat helped me remember the numbers from the memory game…

The event we decided to use for our counter memory was Islam Awareness Week, which took place at the University of Waterloo from March 14 - March 16 in the Student Life Center. Islam Awareness Week is run by the Muslim Students Association. The event was held to raise awareness about the current discourse around Islam and help portray the real meaning of Islam in a safe and welcoming environment. The event consisted of many things, including information booths, a myth busters’ café, a hijab station and a henna booth. From our perspective, we noticed the henna booth being the first entry point for UW students who were unaware of what was happening.…
