She grew up in a big family with 7 siblings, which was actually common number of family members back in the day. She has one big brother, Yongmoon, and 6 sisters, Yongjung, 둘째이모, Yonghee, Yongnam, Soonhee, and Misung. She is the fifth oldest child of her family. Because of the age gap between her and the youngest sister, she used to carry her baby sister and change diapers. Since she has many siblings spending lots of time with, they have been sharing a lot of memories together. They are very close to each other so that five of her sisters happen to have lived nearby our home. The whole families often gather together and celebrate birthdays and the special holidays, such as the Lunar New Year and Chuseok, Korean Thanksgiving. I describe, her personality is very sweet, caring, and supportive. She always puts family first before herself, which is one of many points that I very appreciate and admire her. Since my mom and I are very close, like best friend status, I already knew a lot about her which made the interviewing process much easier. My mom and I share a lot of the same views on many issues but have differing views on a few, especially under the diversity category. I live at home with my mom and father and so I see my mom everyday which is one reason why our viewpoints are similar, so we can both avoid cognitive dissonance and it makes the day to day living more manageable.…
