Every hazy evening when the sun starts to set, my family would finally get together at the dinner table which is the only time we ever spend time as a whole. As the oldest child out of the family, I feel that should take in consideration that my parents are the ones who raised me really well. They may seem over protective at times, but I know that they are doing that because they cherished me the most. I had always been raised at home with two of my other siblings and my mom would take care of us while my dad went to work. However, my family is the one that gives me the motivation to be able to succeed with a vision to see my parents enjoy their lives again.

My mom is the reason why I want to become successful so that I could give back for what she has done for me and my younger siblings. When my mom got married, she had first thought that she was going to live the American dream when she heard that America was a place where anyone could live in luxury. However, it came out to be the opposite for her. Soon after I was born, my mom had treated me like a treasure. She never allowed any babysitters to take care of me because she never trusted them. She even did the cooking and cleaning by herself for the family. Sometimes, it makes me feel guilty when I see her cry because she’s always stressed about other problems, even her other family. Just a year ago, we were on a trip to Vietnam. That trip did not really go well since there was a feud going on and there were many disagreements about their financial problems. Even if I wanted to say that they were being greedy, my mom would say that I have to focus on my future because that’s what my mom only cares about. She cares about that the most since it carries on her reputation in the family. She is the reason why I want to give back her happiness so my relatives can see her as a good mother, and a good
