My mom-mom which is my mom mother was the glue that keep my mom side of the family together. She was the matriarch of the whole family. My mom-mom would have the whole family at her house celebrating the holidays. She loved to by surrounded around her family. She passed away being surrounded around her family members. Everyone in the family looked up to her and respect her word. If people in the family was arguing and fighting with each other she would call them over her house, so they can sit talk over their problems with each other. My mom-mom would put you in the mind of the character “Big Mama” for the movie Soul Food.
