My family is very important to me because they are the ones who have shaped me and molded me into the person I am today. In spite of all their flaws I know my family loves me very much. Growing up I only had my mom and my grandparents in my life, my parent’s divorce when I was only four years old and I did not meet my father until I was eighteen years old. Everything that I am is because of my mother, she sacrifices so much for me, she taught me hard and valuable lessons to conquer anything that stands in my way. My mom also raised me in a Christian home, she used to tell me if you cannot trust me or nobody else trust Jesus because He sticks closer to you than a brother.
The greatest thing about my family is that we are all very talented musically but I am the only one who is good at art and music. As you can imagine when we all get together for Thanksgiving and Christmas it is a celebration someone is playing so kind of instrument or singing, the house is full of laughter and joy. When my grandfather was still alive he would tell me stories about his youth and how he got the nickname count. My youngest uncle Patrick was born in America. They all grew up in a Christian home sadly not all are still Christians my youngest uncle and his family are Jehovah Witnesses and my other uncle is not servicing God anymore.
