The Fisher Family

My family is courageous, caring, and active. Take a crazy ride with me and my family to learn more about the creative Fisher family because one day, I caught the greatest and biggest fish of all; the Fisher family! Time for the biggest and baddest of them all: the maid of the family, Shawna! My mom Shawna is the oldest of the family, but yet the most creative! Here are some fun facts about my mom: well, for one, she’s my mom, she was born in Phoenix, Arizona, she has two boys, which would be me and my brother which I will get there later, and she graduated from high school with only 21 kids! I remember having some memories with my mom like this one time when we were secretly

For one, she’s my cat, she weighs 20 pounds (For a fact), she hates Sidney, and she loves me. I would describe her as lazy, cuddly, inactive, and lucky! Some things Lucky likes is licking my pillow pet when I was younger, (no, literally) and being lazy. But, she dislikes the dog, and moving around! Sometimes when I pet her she feels very mushy and thick. She does look fat at first sight, but is still shadowy and flashy. A great memory I 've had with Lucky Doodle is when the were seven teensy weensy baby kittens and a momma that ran away from somewhere into our backyard! Lucky was the fattest one besides the mom. After about an hour of naming them all, Lucky started choking, and then soon after, died. But then, we saved her life in the knick of time! I forgot how me and my family did, but we did it! We ended up keeping two of the kittens: Lucky, and Co-Co. The only thing that Lucky does in her spare time is sleep, eat, and snuggle! I love Lucky because she 's my cat and she is very important to me. If you are wondering, Lucky is kind of a obsidian, ghostly color. Also, her eyes are as green as an emerald. Co-Co, which I decided to not put in this story, is a bronze, bloodless, and ebony cat! So, that 's it for Lucky the

Most people who live in the country can answer this question yes, but how about those in town? Well, throughout my many years of living in the small town of Worthing, South Dakota, I had many cats come and go. However, one of the many cats chose to stay awhile. This cat was as fluffy as a cotton ball. His fur had caramel and chocolate colored stripes and one black stripe that went from his nose, down his back, and to the tip of his tail.…

My eighty-three year old grandfather handed me an overwhelmingly thick book titled “Sheils Family History” and said, “Here; look through this. Maybe you’ll run into one of these people.” I suppressed a laugh, thinking of the near zero probability of me “running into” one of my distant family members as I travelled abroad for the next two weeks. However impatient, I sat quietly listening to my grandpa chirp away about our ancestors and his war stories, while I pictured myself for the next fourteen days in a completely new place.…

MANDATORY: Please describe how you have prepared for your intended major, including your readiness to succeed in your upper-division courses once you enroll at the university. Although it took me quite some time to realize, I have been preparing for my major and career all my life. When I started fifth grade, my teacher fostered my love for reading by challenging me to read books that were much more difficult for my grade level because they addressed heavy subjects. He recommended that I read Flowers for Algernon, and it became the very first book that made me feel shock, heartbreak, joy, and frustration all in a single read.…

I was never raised in that normal American family. My family was different compared to every other family in America. I’ve always envied the kids who would speak English to parents who could fully understand it. Instead, I was born into a family that had trouble reading, writing, and understanding the language of the country they decided to live in. My earliest recollection of being different was when I was that new kid in middle school.…

As a child, having rules to follow wasn’t unheard of with my family. There was always a way to behavior with friends/family, at school, at home and out in the street. Often I found myself getting into trouble because I didn 't listen and also the fact that I always found some kind of way to slipping out of having to doing something that I knew I was supposed to do. But out of all the people in my family my mom was the strictest. When expectations set high, not meaning them meant my siblings and I typical had a week long cleaning punishments along with handing over all toys, games, and light up sneakers; about three times a week this happened to me.…
