I came across a road rage meme and it made laugh so hard! It was Kermit the Frog with a bolded caption that said" My face when ... I'm finally to the person who would let me over." I'm looking at it again laughing, just thinking about being on the receiving end of that stare! That frog meme had me paying attention around at how other drivers ... well, drive us crazy!

I've always heard that drivers should practice "defensive driving. " It makes sense, we all know how big a car is and how fast it can go, you can find all of those numbers somewhere on the car itself. We all know someone who has been in an accident, be it minor or major. When cars collide, it can be catastrophic and everyone knows it well. But somehow, at least for me, the idea of it actually all being real didn't happen until I had gotten into an accident where I was forced to deal with the consequences of even a minor collision.…

Unfortunately, distraction and fun are two of the worst things that drivers and passengers alike should be striving for when on the road. Recklessness and the associated intensified cellphone use from social media are two reasons why social media induced distracted driving is becoming an ever increasing issue on American roadways. Unlike a select few texts and calls, there is never an excuse to need to use social media while driving. While there are many states that have legislation against the use of cellphones and social media while driving, they are hard to enforce as phones are easy to conceal. Therefore, the only way American roadways can recover from the prevalence of accidents and hazardous behavior caused by social media is drivers learning about the danger that they pose to themselves and the community, and deciding that they can wait until they…

There were 3,154 people killed in a motor vehicle involving distracted drivers in 2013. Why would you want to add on to the killing? One of these killings could be one of your loved ones and their life could have been saved if the people around them on the road cared enough about their life and people around them. Every time you get behind a wheel of any vehicle you should have your full attention on the road and not somewhere else. I think the main problem in why road rage is becoming more common is a result of our society. Our society is constantly on the go and in a hurry, and people become angry when drivers drive slower then their desired limit. Road rage is typically a result of emotions a driver experiences while driving; however, I also believe road rage could be a result of displacement from another source of stress. Although situations like that are a little frustrating and will make any person agitated, it typically isn't enough to cause someone to start screaming and flipping people off like some people with serious cases…
