Improved Essays
My experience with the four I’s has been this, I know how to keep my goals in focus and purse them no matter what curve ball is thrown at me. Throughout the challenges while growing up, I never missed a beat academically or personally. Last summer, I lost my best friend on the first day of summer school, the day Physic 's I began. I did not drop the class, I finished Physic 's I and II last summer with a 4.0. There was a hole in my heart and unbearable sadness each day, but I was successful because the four I’s are ingrained in my character.

A journey is what success has been to me, with multiple peaks, building one success upon another; evolving with time. It manifests in daily life and can be enjoyed every day in a carefree, comfortable

I am young and just beginning my preparation for a career in the health field. With three years of study behind me, I look back with joy at the path I have forged, the hardships endured have made me cry, the accomplishments make me confident and hopeful for where my life is headed. I do not think it is true that you have to work hard to be successful when you love what you do. My success is powered by passion, a fire in my heart and the dream I cannot deny. I think I can apply the word intensity to this passion because it is that intensity that fires the passion in my belly and births my success. The impact of growing up with a father who suffers from Scleroderma has led me to my career choice. My goal is to have a hands-on contribution to maintaining the best possible treatment for those who suffer from terminal and life- changing illnesses. My desire is to be a part of a person’s life that leads them to better physical and spiritual health. It is my conviction that, even in the depths of ill-health, a person can still keep their light shining inside. Health is a gift that we do not earn or even deserve. What is given to us is what we must maintain, or, in some instances, improve. I truly believe my goal in life is to learn, discover, and present my knowledge of medicine. I want to apply what I learn to enrich the lives of people, help those who are willing to be helped, and then execute a plan for lifelong …show more content…
It will be ongoing as long as there is life. Today, as I study biology, microbiology, genetics, chemistry and ecology, my mind visualizes the person to which these hours of study will link. The importance of my strong foundation for the future is not a matter I take lightly. Being content that each day while actively engaged, I am moving toward my vision of success. However, this will not end with my Master’s Degree or when I become a Physician’s Assistant. My goals will be the people I can help every day of my life...I dream it, and I believe I will achieve it. Involvement describes how I manage these plans, today and for the future; involvement is my inner quality required for my success. I make sure I do something outside of my comfort zone every day, this involvement energizes me and gives me the present of something new. In the end, when I am old and gray, and have my grandchildren on my lap, I want to know my success by what I have given from my abundance. If I have inspired health, given hope and knowledge, motivated and helped spread happiness, have loved and have been loved and able to help my children and theirs to do the same, I will have reached the top of the mountain of
