My Experience With Sleep Deprivation

I planned to start my project 2 by talking about my own experience with sleep deprivation. My deprivation started during 12th grade in high school, but got worse once I started college. I have not gotten a full 8 hours of sleep on a school night in a long time. Therefore, I think it will be ideal for me to first start off with my own experience and then support it with factual information that I found. So far the information I have gather states that it is important for adults to get 7-8 hours of sleep on average to function properly. There is only one Internet source that supports my sleeping schedule of only 5 hours per night. I also plan on conducting a survey in which I will interview students sleeping schedules and compare it to my own to see if there is a correlation or if I am just a crazy being. Furthermore, I am still debating on whether to just talk about my experience first and then provide the evidence or vice versa. I personally feel that if I start with my own anecdote it will engage the reader more. I also want to make sure that my paper is not boring and that it gets the reader wondering if they sleep enough and if its healthy to skip out on hours of sleep. I think I will definitely start off by stating that my academic work keeps me sleep deprived and how my body got adjusted to it. Second, I will bring in the surveys I will conduct from other students work and sleeping schedule. Third, I will use the website page that gives out 6 tips on how to survive without sleep and how it is manageable to do. I will also provide my own tactics that keep me up and going in this section. Finally, i will bring in the medical conducted research that states the mental and physical consequences of sleep deprivation and how I have been negatively
