Improved Essays
Nowadays people are so demanding about what they eat that they choose what to eat carefully. So, the restaurant should keep up with them and be creative with what they present to people. People now have many types of food that they can choose from. For example: in big cities now you could find restaurants from all over the world. Most people love to try new kinds of food and the rest of them has some type of food that they prefer to eat. For me it’s Persian food, I really like it, because they know how to make the best kebabs in the world. In my experience with Persian restaurants, I can tell you that they are the best with this kind of food. Kebab is actually a small meat and you can use any kind of meat to make it. Kebab is an old dish that goes way back in history, the …show more content…
The price of this course was about 20$ which I think is a good price, because the food was good and I think Persian Room isn’t the kind of restaurants that you would go to every day. Because of the restaurant location and the price some people will not be interested in going there. But, I know people who are willing to pay more and to drive longer distance just to have the same quality of food that Persian room has. For me I would go there twice a month. Some restaurants have ridicules prices, but in Persian room they have a reasonable prices for their dishes. The most important thing in these kind of restaurant is the services. You might enjoy the food, but if you didn’t like how the restaurant serve you it’s unlikely that you would go their again. I liked the way that Persian Room picks their employs, because this restaurant expects the best service out of their employs that’s why they chose them very carefully. When I first walked into the restaurant there was a servant who welcomed me and took me to my table, after that I was surprised that the manger herself took our order and she was very friendly. She started talking to us and asking about where were we from and what were we studying

When my family goes on vacation my mom always tries to fully submerge us in the culture around us. For example, a few years ago, my family and I went on a vacation in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico. We stayed in a nice resort and it was never necessary to leave the property if you didn’t want to. Most people never did.…

I've always loved different cultures and tried to surround myself in as many as possible however I could. This was usually me trying to learn on my own from the internet, music and movies, but I was still missing that X factor that really made me indulge in other cultures. As soon as I walked onto Swarthmore's campus I felt that X factor. Sitting in the info session and taking the tour, I truly felt at home. The small diverse campus allows for people of completely different backgrounds and cultures to have real relationships that they might not have even noticed anywhere else in the world.…

When I was in high school I got my first car and every morning before I would leave for school, my mom would always tell me to “drive safe and go straight to school, no stops!” and I would do just that. Unlike any other morning after arriving to school, I decided to find my two friends and leave to go to Chick-fil-a. We had fifteen minutes to get there and back without being late for school. While trying to cross a 4-lane road, I was t-boned by an older lady who was texting while driving. I didn’t see her…

I would visit Applebee’s again for several reasons; it is affordable, causal, and the food is really good. As a college student, the first thing that I consider before eating out is how affordable the place is. Compared to Olive Garden, I would say that this restaurant is a lot less formal, less costly, and a lower food quality. Overall, my experience was fun and enjoying because I felt relaxed sitting, laughing, and eating with my friends. When come back next time, I may try a dessert.…

I am an attendant at Chick-fil-a, I don’t think I have any specific title because I am pretty much doing everything, whether it is working with the cash registers or working in the kitchen. My first position though I was working in the kitchen, however after considering it was a high pace restaurant, the first two weeks in the back I felt like it was too much pressure. So I asked to work in the front area of the restaurant, and it was so much less pressure and it became easier to adapt to the environment of Chick-fil-a. After a few months of working at the restaurant I ended up having appendicitis and a bacterial infection, so I was out for a couple months. After having that experience and learned that it was God that saved my life, and reflecting…

The Persian shop owner and his family have enormously involved relationships, usually circling around racism, immigration and anger. Three theories that would accurately describe the relationship between the Persian shop owner and his family would be Dissonance, resistance and emission and homeostasis. Dissonance Dissonance is “initiated by [the] crisis or negative experience; [the person] becomes aware racism exists; and not all aspects of minority and majority culture are good or bad” (Daniels, 2015). In the movie, when the Persian shop owner, Farhad, and his daughter enter the gun store everything goes fine, the clerk even ask “what kind of ammunition did they want” (Haggis, 2005)? Then nearly half way through the conversation with the clerk, Farhad and his daughter begin speaking in Farsi and the clerk make a racial epitaph, about September 11th ,which infuriates, Farhad.…
