I nearly flunked Spanish 2 sophomore year. I transferred to a new school known as St. Joseph Notre Dame High School, where we had a strict teacher, Mr. Mueller. The second day of his class, we were given a quiz, and given my past history with Spanish 1, I knew I had this one in the bag. How I was farther from the truth, as it only took 2 failing quizzes for him to come up to my desk and say to me "I recommend you try again. From the beginning.…

She informed my parents that she had been teaching for over 25 years, and from her experience, she believes that I was dyslexic, both of my parents had no idea what the word dyslexic meant. Ms. Williams went on to explain what dyslexia was, she use as an example, my struggles with the spelling assignments in her class.
