I am the middle child of all of my siblings. I currently live with my dad, step-mom, little brother, and step-brother. I lived with my mom and older brother for most of my childhood and moved a lot around the country during elementary school. I missed a lot of school as a child. I can barely remember the names of about half of the schools I’ve went to. My mom was a single parent for most of the time, yes it was hard for her, but she never gave up on me or herself. She worked hard to provide me with most of what I needed for a while until I made the decision to live with my dad. In my head I saw that it would be a better life and I could be stable in one area until I was older. Moving in with my dad was a decision that I had to make …show more content…
It’s a lot easier though. I thought high school would be hard. The only hard thing for me was actually doing the work and keeping my grades up. But with motivation I conquered the task. Savanna High School is now a place I call a second home. I feel safe when I step my feet on campus. After high school is over I wouldn’t know what to do with myself. I’ve had a lot of achievements and disappointments this year. Just like I said in my reflection, an F was the worst thing that’s happened to me my whole life. This school life is really important to me because I need it to get the career I want. I don’t want to be a bum living on the streets. I want to be the first of my parent’s children to go to college and have a good life. I know they would want that for me too. As long as I keep up the good work I can achieve my goal, and pass high school with the life I …show more content…
I learned how to manage my time better and become more efficient with my work. I learned how to do better in math and stay on task too. Math used to be hard but now it 's easier. I realized all I had to do was apply myself and work hard to accomplish what I needed to get done. I went from struggling in math to being able to do good on my tests and quizzes. Being able to do good in math was a big goal I had to face in my whole life. I also started my YouTube career this year. I see myself getting big on YouTube and making that my main career after high school or during high school. My big influences for this decision are a couple of youtubers. Their names are KSI, VanossGaming, and FaZe Rain. They are 3 big youtubers that have started from similar places like I have and made it big. They influence me because FaZe Rain dropped out of high school his senior year and ended up having 3 Million subscribers and being able to put his mom into retirement early. I don’t plan on dropping out, but I want to be as successful as

It was a normal Tuesday at good ol’ Freeburg Community High School. Our rambunctious lunch group sat around the table to enjoy the lunch of the day, chili. Now you see, I had brought my lunch, but I wasn’t allowing that stop me from enjoying a steaming bowl of chili. My bowl of chili warmed my hands, heart, stomach, my esophagus when it was occasionally too hot, and eventually my lap. Between all of the jokes and laughter I hadn’t noticed that my hands were shaking a tad more than normal; if I had noticed, I would have done the smart thing and set my bowl down rather than hold it.…
