It takes a long time to feel comfortable in a place where you have just moved, especially if the already stationed people are hostile or cold. You must understand that not all residents will be kind to you at first. Time is key when moving somewhere new. When I first moved to the town I live in currently fitting in did not come easy to me, it still doesn't. The kids and adults that had grew up there and had generations living there were extremely cautious of my family and myself. To be honest they still are. When moving somewhere new you absolutely cannot expect the best from everyone, because some of the time you will only be disappointed.
