In kindergarten, I attended Rose Hill-Magnolia elementary school. I was in Mrs. Houston and Mrs. Hall’s class. I entered school on the first day, walked through the double doors of the school and felt like I was alone. I approached my cluster of classroom cubes. I walked past the little toy kitchen in the lobby. Saw three different classrooms but remembered earlier that week when I went with my mom there that it was on the furthest right with the dog posters. I walk into my class and I see my cousin Ty and we say hi to each other. Soon after we went to breakfast. Later lunch, then recess, finally we boarded the buses to go home. I did not attend school for the rest of the week. The next Monday when I entered the classroom more students …show more content…
On top of not wanting to move, I had to start school about a week late. I was nervous all morning; therefore, I begged and begged my mom to change her mind. She never changed her mind. We got into our burgundy minivan and headed to Kenansville Elementary School, it felt like the longest ride of my life. We entered the school. The Principle Peter and the Assistant Principal Luis showed my mom and I the way to my classroom. We got go Mrs. Boone’s door she opened it and introduced herself. I stepped into the classroom and looked around; I couldn’t believe my eyes she was her! We screamed when we made eye contact Mrs. Boone said “ I believe she found a friend’. I went and sat with her. She introduced me to Nemo, Jake, Jack, and Leon just to name a few. We finished that year together like our friendship never missed a beat. The next big bridge was E.E. Smith Middle School. Sixth grade felt like a breeze minus the usual drama. I thought my whole middle school experience was going to be that way, little did I know I was moving back to Rose Hill. On the last day during lunch, Jake got in front of the sixth-grade class and announced I was moving and he did a speech. People myself included were crying I didn’t realize how many friendships I developed in such a short period of time. That summer I tried to stay in contact with Carlie, but she stopped responding. I realized she was just ignoring me so I started hanging out with other people also. I started attending Charity Middle School and she continued at E.E.

Moving schools away from all of my friends should’ve been an appalling experience, surprisingly, it was a blessing in disguise. I went to Agnes Baptist Elementary from kindergarten to 5th grade and I had friends that I've known since I was 3. I loved it there and knew the school like the back of my hand. Everything was superior, like most good things, though there were times where they weren’t, I was harassed by a bully almost everyday, my grades were getting inadequate, and my mom didn’t want me to be a sad, disconsolate 7th grader at a new junior high. In the result, I moved and I went to Savage Middle School, a school that had 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.…

There are lots of central concerns in my life, but the one that sticks out the most would have to be phone usage and driving. As us adults are use to driving and have been becoming more confident in our driving and very impatient when waiting on having to do things we have become more reckless with our driving by being on our phones which put our lives and others in danger. As ustoday stated, “The National Safety Council 's annual injury and fatality report, "Injury Facts," found that the use of cellphones causes 26% of the nation 's car accidents, a modest increase from the previous year. The 2014 edition of the report compares data from 2013 and earlier.” (ustoday.com).…
