We were directed to write an outline, for what would eventually become our essays. Little did I know , getting there was going to be quite the battle. The essay was on “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn”, so naturally the class had spent time reading the book and we were ready to further analyze what we had read. Our teacher told us to formulate an opinion on the book, regarding racism. From this basic opinion she told us to formulate a thesis to describe what we were thinking. The thesis was designed to contain three main components, the what, the why and the how. I had written a thesis before. I was fairly confident in my ability to complete the task.
