In the “easy” way of meditation people just focus on their breathing and in the “easier” way people do not think about anything.” I panicked because I was wondering how to not think about anything. Impressed as if by the Sullivan’s speech our instructor set the timer for ten minutes for the “easy” way of meditation and then five minutes for the “easier” way of meditation. Being interested by my fellow members speech myself, I asked my friend beside me the reason that she meditates. She told me in today’s world, all of us carry a lot of mental frustration, we think too much, and strain ourselves. I started believing that with this “meditation” I was stronger physically and intellectually because when I opened my eyes I could view the world differently. I felt as if I had complete and absolute freedom from my daily activities. I not only had physical freedom from the outside world, but also that I had strengthened myself to such an extent that I was no longer distracted by the various unwanted feelings and petty attachments. I stopped spending time panicking and building negative perception about the teachers because I need to ensure emotional hygiene too. I would rather enjoy the cold breeze softly blowing and refreshing my body and being, while investing in the positive thoughts and energy.
